Improves the contact app
Number your contacts and see who belongs where.
Every company and person gets a contact number you can search by. Pick the address that invoices and deliveries go to, and browse your companies with their people and addresses nested beneath them.
New companies and persons draw one from a sequence. Their people and addresses carry the same number.
Set a default invoice and delivery address, and sales orders use it instead of the first address they find.
Open a company like a folder to see its people and addresses, and drag a contact to another company.
An address book that stays in order
The contacts app you already use, with the fields and views a large address book needs.
Drawn from a sequence when a company or person is created, unique, and handed down to its people and addresses.
Type a contact number wherever a contact is searched: the search bar, a contact field or the merge wizard.
Choose which address receives invoices and which one deliveries, instead of relying on the first one found.
Contact suggestions show whether each entry is a company, a person, an invoice or a delivery address.
Address type, notes, portal or internal user and the company, each as an optional column of the list.
Contacts open as a tree, ahead of kanban and list: companies open to their people and addresses, and a drag moves them.
Read a contact without opening it
The contact list shows the number, the company and the name in their own columns. An icon tells companies, persons and invoice and delivery addresses apart, addresses are also coloured, companies are set in bold, and a click on the notes icon shows the internal notes in place. The search panel filters by country and tag, and new filters pick out main contacts, portal users and internal users.
One number, one address to send to
The contact number sits above the address. A contact created while the sequence was switched off gets one with the button beside the field. On the Sales and Purchase tab, the default invoice and delivery address are picked from the contact's own addresses.
Merge a numbered duplicate into a contact without a number, and the contact that stays takes the number over.
